What is LLP Form 8?
All LLP has to file form 8 to ROC. Form 8 is a annual compliance form which is also known as Statement of Accounts and solvency. In this Form LLP provides the various details of its financial statement to ROC.
What is the time limit for filing form 8 with ROC?
Form 8 should be filed with the ROC on or before 30th October every year.
MCA extended the time limit for filing Form 8
As per the circular No. 16/2021 issued on 26.10.2021 , The Ministry of Corporate Affairs notified that the last day for filing Form 8 by the LLP without any additional fees is 30th December, 2021.
The Ministry has received a representation seeking extension of timeline for filing Statement of Account and Solvency without paying additional fees by LLPs on account of challenges faced by the LLPs due to COVID-19 pandemic. As part of the Government’s constant efforts to promote ease of living and compliances for Micro, Medium and Small Enterprises doing business through the vehicle of LLP, it has been decided to allow LLPs to file Form 8 (the Statement of Account and Solvency) for the Financial Year 2020-2021 without paying additional fees upto 30th December, 2021.
